The Citadel Beach House was opened in 1958. The original home was destroyed by hurricane Hugo in 1989. The current home sits on the site where the original home sat and has become one of the prime Charleston wedding venues.

It is located on the Isle of Palms directly on the beach. The view of the ocean is beautiful. Large cathedral ceilings and fantastic balconies make for a great wedding setting.
